What Amazon and Google are doing with this business is so awesome that it’s hard to believe that it’s only been a few years since someone thought it would be cool to be a small business. I mean, just look at this thing! It’s even got a giant “Amazon” logo in the middle of the page and the menu is full of the products you can now buy from the company’s own website instead of having to search for them.
Amazon and Google are both getting into a bit of a quandry with their new baby-eating-fishing-diving-machine-with-a-fancy-phone-phone-phone-phone-phone-phone.
Amazon was so excited about this prototype grocery store that they’ve spent the last few months marketing it as an extension of the company itself. It’s so awesome that its hard to believe that its only been a few years since someone thought that a small business would be cool. It’s even got a huge Amazon logo in the middle of the page and the menu is full of the products you can now buy from the companys own website instead of having to search for them.
Amazon is so big and so awesome that it makes you wonder if it would really be possible for a small business to grow beyond the point of having to sell their own products. If you look at the company’s history, it seems that they’ve basically been on the bleeding edge of technology and innovation, and so far they’ve been doing pretty well.
Amazon has a lot of things going for it. For example, they are using their own e-commerce platform, it’s mobile, and it’s very intuitive. But for now they are mostly a bricks and mortar grocery store and the only reason they’ve got a website is because so many of their products are already on the site. But you have to wonder whether that could change.
Amazon is making it clear that in order to keep up with the times, they are now considering expanding into the grocery business. Their new site is very much centered around the concept of shopping local, and the idea that everyone should have access to the things they want.
This is a good thing. The world is changing at an accelerated pace and the people who can adapt to it are those who can afford to. I think Amazon is setting themselves up to become a very powerful force in the future grocery business. I’m not saying that it’s a sure thing, but I do think the idea of being able to shop at your local grocery store and not have to wait in line for hours on end is a big advantage.
Amazon already owns Whole Foods, and they are looking to move into a lot of the grocery stores in the future. They have already said they have plans to open grocery stores in areas that are considered underserved by the current supermarket chains and want to open more in areas that are underserved by the local grocery stores. This is definitely a bold move, and will be one of the first things Amazon tries to do in the coming years.
So what does this all mean for Amazon? Well, as a grocery store is a huge business for Amazon, they have a lot of time to develop this new venture. There’s a LOT of opportunity to expand their online grocery business. It’s one of those areas where I don’t know if Amazon will be able to keep up with the competition.
