junior business analyst salary
Junior business analyst salaries can be intimidating, especially when compared to the salaries of managers and executives. As a junior analyst, you are often expected to work long hours, be less productive, and put in less effort than your competition.
It’s true that you’re expected to work long hours and put in less than your peers. In fact, you’re expected to work a full 40 hour week and put in a full 40 hour week. Junior business analysts are also often expected to put in less than their peers and are expected to be less productive. As a result, there are a lot of expectations placed on junior business analysts.
For example, if youre working in a cubicle all day, youve probably put on 20-30 pounds. If youre working in a cubicle all day, youve probably put on 50-60 pounds. But if youre working in a cubicle all day, youre usually going to put on 50 pounds. Its not because youre a junior analyst anyway. Its because youre doing more work than youre supposed to do.
The problem we have with this is that the assumption being made about junior analysts is that youre going to put on 50 pounds. That is not the case. Instead, that weight is because of a good work ethic. If youve put on 50 pounds, youre not only putting on 50 pounds, youre putting on a ton of work. Youre really not putting on any weight. Youve actually put on a ton of work.
So if youre doing more work than youre supposed to do, it’s because youre not doing enough work. Youre not putting in the hours that you should be putting in. You should only put in the hours that youre going to be putting in.
We work long hours, but when you say you are not putting in the hours that you should be putting in, youre putting in the hours that you wont be putting in. You might as well say youre putting in the hours that youre going to be putting in for a week. It will be worse than that. You are going to put in the hours that youre not going to be putting in.
That’s the gist of this post. How many of you have ever given your boss a hard time because youre working so hard? I wouldnt put it past you. Youre not putting in the hours that you should be putting in. You should only put in the hours that youre going to be putting in. If youre not making it, youre not putting in the hours that you should be putting in.
I know that I have. I work an average of around 20 hours a week in my spare time. And I have a little bit more than my fair share of sick leave and vacation time. But that is not the same as putting in the hours that you should be putting in. One of the things that makes my job so hard is that I am not only putting in the hours that I should be putting in, I am putting in the hours that I have put in.
I get that. If you put in the hours that your boss is asking for, you are taking care of your boss. I don’t like to say this, but “putting in the hours that you have put in” is another way of saying “not getting paid enough.” If you put in the hours that your boss is asking for, you are not doing your job, because you are putting in the hours that you have put in.
