I have been asked this question a lot lately, and the answer I have heard is pretty clear. I think this is because so many people are working so much and have families that they don’t take time to think about their job. This is certainly true, but the real reason this question is being asked is because we don’t have to.
We do not believe in the concept of “work life balance”. To quote the great James Altucher, “Work life balance” is “work life”. We believe in having “a regular life” and working hard to do this.
This is a good point because most people that work long hours for very little money end up being extremely stressed, which is not the case with some other professions. This is because most of the time you have to work so hard to make enough money to cover your expenses. If you want to stress yourself out to death, you can do that. If you don’t then you can work as long as you can and take a vacation when you can afford it.
Most people that work hard for a living end up working for someone else and then finding themselves in a constant cycle of money shortfalls and poor health. Most people that work in a profession that has a lot of people that have to work for a living don’t have any money problems, but they are constantly stressed out about money. The good news is that if you are one of those people, you can find a way to make money and take a break from those stressful nights.
We all get used to working on computers and phones.
After all of the stress we’ve been putting off for a while, I realize that sometimes you have to do something else. It’s not that you have to work hard for it, but you have to learn how to not take it for granted and get out of your own way as much as possible. People will want to work for it, but it’s not always possible.
Its not that people arent willing to just get out and have some fun, it just feels like we are at a point where the world is not really that fun anymore. I think that is a good thing for the business community to realize.
I think that there was a time when we really could have been at a point where we could have been more fun. The world is so much more crowded now that it feels like it is just too much fun to do anything else. The world seems to be so saturated with so much content that you can’t really do much else. As a result it feels like our entire society is just filled with people that are trying to spend all their time doing things that are fun.
What is so great about lds business school? Well, we are all being asked to put our lives into a very specific and unique environment and the only real way to make sure you get your money’s worth is to put your life into it too. The fact that we have made this happen is a huge accomplishment and a huge morale boost for the business community. I think that it has finally put our profession on par with that of a movie or a book.
Lds schools have been around for a while, and they have a long history in the business world. Back in the days when students were sent to college to study, students would spend weeks or months at school, only being allowed to do activities that were very similar to what you are doing now. I think it is amazing that they are doing everything they can to create a place where you can truly get out of your comfort zone.
