I’ve been a busy girl, and I’ve been a busy mommy! Now I’m at the point where I need to be a little more organized, so I figured I’d share what I do each and every day to make the busy life a little bit less stressful.
Its like a busy day, but not quite the same. No stress, no worries, no worries at all. You go to work, and in the morning you get coffee, and in the afternoon you get to go back to bed and watch some TV, and you leave the office at the end of the day and get home at night. Its a day where you can just sit down, relax, and enjoy life.
The thing is, a lot of people get this sort of thing done so often because the idea of a business day is so good that it gets so many people in. Everyone knows that business is about taking off the old habits. It’s time to change that.
It’s time to think about business so that you can realize what happened to you and how you were able to get back on track. When we’re on autopilot, we can start thinking about what we want to accomplish.
It’s also a day where things happen that we haven’t thought about until today. Whether it’s getting sick, getting fired, or not being able to pay the bills on time. It’s also a day where bad things can happen that we don’t think about until that very moment.
As a business owner, you are probably on autopilot most of the time. Your business is a business, but there are things in your business that you dont think about too much because you are not really on autopilot (that is until you run into someone who is). You might not realize that someone has been making bad decisions in your business, or that a bad thing has happened to your organization, until you have a chance to look and see.
In the world of business, it really does seem that time goes pretty fast. It’s very easy to get caught in that time loop. It is also easy to get sidetracked by events that have nothing to do with your business. But there are times when you need to ask yourself, “What’s really going on here?” It may be important to ask yourself that question for a few weeks.
Business days are usually set aside for a set time to allow employees to catch up on work and focus on their jobs. They are also important to check in on the people you have working for you. And they may be a good opportunity to get your assistant to give you a good update on your work.
You are the assistant to a business day. You are the taskmaster. If you are having a great time meeting new customers you should be able to spend a few hours together. If you are having a terrible day, there might be a time to talk to each other. And if you are having a terrible day, a time to write down all of what you learned from your day.
You can’t just check your email, call your assistant and have him give you a good update on your work, because that’s not how a workday is supposed to work. There is no “good” and “bad” time in a workday.
